Hangovers are a result of the combination of severe dehydration, inflammation and electrolyte imbalances within your body, all caused by the excessive consumption of alcohol. Hangovers often begin when the concentration of alcohol in your blood begins to drop. The peak of a hangover occurs when one’s blood alcohol level reaches zero. Dihydromyricetin (DHM) helps the body metabolize alochol faster.
